TEAM BUILDS LEAVING SUSTAINABLE FOOTPRINTS
During the first quarter of this year, Liza Gresse and Jan Nel facilitated successful team builds for the management teams of Dynamic Debt Management and the PowerSpar Group in KZN. Both these events took place on a game farm close to Hluhluwe.
ITO Focus holds as its philosophy that team building and team development interventions need to be an enjoyable experience, but still provide sufficient content that will enable teams to implement new perspectives, ideas and behaviour back in the workplace.
According to Jan and Liza, a team build should never just be a few fun days away from work, but should always achieve specific outcomes and add value to the client's business: "In order to ensure that the specific needs and expectations of our clients are met, we always conduct a needs analysis first and follow it up with a meeting with senior management where we discuss a possible programme. We focus on both the individual and the team, and incorporate both theoretical content as well as fun activities that lead to an understanding of different concepts. The ultimate aim is to stimulate behavioural change and to equip the teams with practical action plans ready for implementation back in the workplace."

Jan and Liza have also facilitated team builds for amongst others, Exxaro (Pty) Ltd, Dolphin Coast Retailers and the Department of Transport KZN.
